Radio Australia coming in fairly strong here. Is the origin of this in Australia or is it relayed ??? -- Respectfully, Michael Location: Northern NJ Primary Radio: R-75 with full Kiwa mods. They don't use any actual relays as far as I know, but off the top of my head there may be a station or two in the Pacific which picks up and relays some R. Australia programs. I listen to 21740 during the afternoon here most days. This frequency is almost always really strong. Booming in here daily on this frequency is normal and it is direct from Shepparton according to Passport. S9 right now. This broadcast starts at 2:00 PM (UT 21:00) instead of 1:00 PM my time, which I think throws some people off. They are off either 2 hrs or currently 1 hr on the schedule depending on the season. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
