what are you listening with and from where? This is a pretty good listing,
nice little database. I've caught all but one from 52N 102W on an Icom R-75 w/ 200 m - 220 yard wire around the house (can't vouch for the MW, never been much interested in MW). I've never heard Radio Guyana and not for lack of trying (lived there for a while in 1970's). The Guinea listing is probably right, at least it's the same guess I made. Good job, and much appreciated. Various portables. I live in Sacramento, USA. I have one random wire
antenna out the window of my kitchen, that's how I can sometimes get stations in Africa late in the evening. I kept looking for a list that would tell me what's on the radio now, one without religious stations, and including stations that weren't in english but sometimes had interesting music. I couldn't find any so I had to make one. I wanted something I could put on one page on my fridge and look at to see what's available if I want to listen to some news. The BBC is my personal favorite but they go to bed so early Pacific Time. I wish they had a broadcast for us all night after 10PM. The Pacific doesn't seem to be a priority for them. The 6005 is usually the best, but I am listening on LSB usually. I'm way north of you and somewhat east (central Saskatchewan, Canada). |
