hahahahaha.. good joke

Thats the reason I got cable, so I'd have more choices. I'm currently
watching "Modern marvels" on the history chan. Good show right now about
what can happen if this taken into account. They were talking about a
radio tower accident that killed several people. I need to fix my
antenna for my shortwave. The whip gets horrible reception in the
computer room. Lightning sucks!

Whenever I watch TV, I usually find myself flipping through the same
channels (discovery/history/science/tlc/wings) despite have a couple
hundred to choose from.

The antenna story reminded me of a tower in Houston - I think it was
1000' tall or more - that collapsed while some workers were up there
trying to install something. IIRC, they were putting up a new antenna for
a TV or radio station - who happened to be out there filming the event.
Some big "part" they were hoisting up hit one of the guy lines, which
snapped. The sudden release of tension on that side caused the whole thing
to accordion down. The film footage was quite startling...

I dunno. I figure it's a mixed bag, like every other job. Sure, you're
never more than a silly mistake away from sure death, but at least your
supervisor isn't up there breathing down your neck for eight hours a day.

Sounds like a wash to me.

Any day that nothing but pins drop is a good day.
