Grundig FR200 adapter

Grundig FR200 adapter

Just got my Grundig FR200 a couple of weeks ago. I just started using an ac
adapter for it at the office where I work, and noticed that the charge light
remains one all the while it's plugged in. Is this ok, or will it cause
problems for the rechargeable battery pack further down the line?
