Well, I can't offer you anything in Mozambique Steve,
But have you got Angola on 7216.8? It's on air but a difficult catch even here. WRTH lists it as 100 Kw, but I think it is much less powerful than that. -- John Plimmer, Montagu, Western Cape Province, South Africa South 33 d 47 m 32 s, East 20 d 07 m 32 s. Angola at that time was involved in a raging war with UNITA and the country was in chaos, so I am amazed that you got anyone there to reply to you. Tell us how you did it, as, believe me, it just didn't happen? Did you send the QSL in Portuguese? Did you send a reward? Mostly, if you included a dollar they would pocket it and you would never hear from them..... -- John Plimmer, Montagu, Western Cape Province, South Africa South 33 d 47 m 32 s, East 20 d 07 m 32 s. If I recall correctly I probably sent mint stamps for them to use in reply. As it was the 5th of December I may have been on a DXpedition over on the east side of the state. QSL'ing used to be a lot easier. My list of countries verified is he http://www.iserv.net/~n8kdv/dxlist.htm dxAce Michigan USA |
