Lentini also needs to update its website. They STILL say they have the
AOR 7030+ available!

While the 7030+ is no longer being imported, it's possible they have one left in stock.

Or they may have forgotten to update the page.

A few months ago I was thinking about investing in a new receiver. I
noticed that Lentini had the 7030+ still listed on their website, so I
called them to see if they actually had it in stock. The guy I talked
to told me that they'd order it for me from AOR USA and that it would
be shipped to me directly from their facility in California. This
didn't make sense to me, as I knew that AOR USA had long ago ceased to
carry the 7030+, and a call to AOR USA confirmed this. I then
contacted Lentini and told them about that I'd been given incorrect
info and that their website was out-of-date. This was many months ago,
but the same old data is still on their site. It would only take about
two minutes to correct it.

Oh well. Even more irritating to me than an out-of-date website is the
fact that the 7030+ isn't available anymore in the States.

Too bad.

The 7030+ is a nice radio. The worst thing I can say about it is the stock filters were too wide or too narrow for my tastes.

You can still import one from England.

Mark
