Default DRM Steering Board proposes extension of system

Tuesday, November 16, 2004

The DRM Steering Board is to apply to the DRM General Assembly to get the
DRM system extended. The Steering Board of the Digital Radio MondialeT
(DRMT) consortium has decided to bring a proposal to the DRM General
Assembly to change the DRM Consortium Agreement to allow work to start on
extending the DRM system to the frequency bands up to 120 MHz. Currently,
the DRM system covers the broadcasting bands below 30 MHz.
