John Peel's last recorded show for BBC World Service is scheduled for
broadcast at the following times: Friday 19th at 0930 GMT and 1330 GMT (British Time) Saturday 20th at 0130 GMT (World Service has a rotating schedule, hence the repeats. Full schedule page is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/sc...o_weekly.shtml ) Details on the BBC News website are here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...io/4023755.stm which unhelpfully doesn't make it clear how one may hear the broadcast... In the UK, if you have Freeview, BBC World Service is on Channel 080. It is also available on various satellites - SKY and Eutelsat. The Saturday 0130 GMT broadcast can be heard on 198 Longwave in the UK and Europe. You could be under the bedclothes at that time... http://radiolondon.co.uk/index.html |

Best bet for catching John Peel's last B.B.C. show in North America, opps,
Latin America, will be Saturday 0133 G.M.T., on 9.825 mhz, which replaced 11.835 mhz this winter season. //12.095 mhz was weak yesterday, & 5.975 mhz was M.I.A. |
