Default Grundig Yachtboy 400

Hello.

I use to run my YB 400 with 6 Accucells which produce 7.2 V. It seems
to be good, has been practiced also by others (I don't remember their
names) and the radio functions quite long with freshly loaded accus.
Now I would ask opposite: whether it would be good it I use 9.6
Accuset I have seen recently in the shop. It is quite cheap. I mean:
would it be good for the radio, would it damage it when run on a
little higher voltage?

Thanks,
