Default Radio Nigeria, Ibadan

Thanks to a tip via World of Radio I'm hearing Radio Nigeria, Ibadan on 6049.9
at 2130. Reports said that it has distorted audio, but not so bad overall. Some
occasional ute QRM. s/off reported to be 2145. Been a while since I've heard
this one.

Hi, and thanks - is this station generally in the clear or is there
some intereference co- or adjacent-channel?

Sorry, I got so excited that I didn't read your post fully. I may give
this a try tomorrow if they are on.

In the clear on it's own, but there's always enough adjacent channel junk to go
around.

Opened up my trunk of treasures a few ninutes ago and looked at my QSL letter
from Ibadan from back in September of 1983.

The ute QRM seemed to be a brief moment or two of what I think is ALE.

I'd like to give it a listen, but the QRN here is absolutely horrendous
today.

They may indeed stay on longer, in a report via the BDXC in April 2004, s/off
was reported to be 2305.

I hope that they'll stay up and running for a while.

Getting a lot more slop here now due to presumed Europeans.
