Default I have an off topic question

If I may ask, does anyone here use Time Warner Road Runner cable internet
access for your computer and how do you like it? I was talking to a lady
on the phone this afernoon and she said the $74.95 installation fee
would be waived and the first three months fee would be $40.95 each
month and then after that it would be $44.95 each month. She also said
they are pretty sure they will be providing telephone access next month
at no extra charge. Thanks for any information about this because I am
considering getting Road Runner cable internet access for my computer.I
don't know the first thing about useing a computer,I suppose I have a
lot to learn.

I've had mine almost a year now and LOVE IT. It NEVER goes down, unless
overnight they do maintenance while I'm sleeping anyway.

Just did a speed test - 2670 down, 343 up to Calif. Speakeasy

I pay 44.95 a month.

If I had the option, I'd go with Earthlink, but I've had service from both,
and Roadrunner's not bad.

Thanks for the information folks. It is much appreciated.Anyway,I phoned
the local Time Warner Road Runner office last night and the lady on the
phone said there will be somebody at my home on Tuesday between 2:00 PM
to 4:00 PM to install my Road Runner cable internet access for my
computer.I don't want to use a dial up so I guess I will try Road Runner
out and see how I like it.

I suppose Road Runner will be fast enough for my computer,at least most
of the time anyway.Although I have never used a computer before I am not
going into that completly blind.I have three of the Computer
Goddess's,(Kim Komando) books on CD's,volume 1 and volume 2 and The 50
Biggest Computer Mistakes and I bought a Norton System Works 2005 with
Go Back.I am aware of other things she reccomends to keep computers out
of trouble.I have been listening to her Saturday mornings radio talk
show for over five years and getting her freebie email newsletters for
over five years too.
