Just call it free enterprise -- folks price things the way they want
Price too high -- no buyers Rich folks who collect -- money is no problemo Pretty simple You wouldn't want price fixing -- or would you ? -- Reader (Buyer) Beware! look at the prices on the two portables http://www.universal-radio.com/used/used1.html |

The Norelco includes "Blofold's radio in 007 Diamonds are Forever" as part of the description - so Bond fans who just have a license to listen may be willing to pay a premium for it. Scarce but not utra-rare. I got one in good shape on e-bay within the last year or two, with its antennas intact for I think under $100. |

Oh well, some sucker reading the WSJ, Smithsonian or some other "high end" magazine may be snookered into paying such a ridiculous price but we here in r.r.s. know better !! |

If a Norelco radio like that showed up in the Goodwill thrift store
seven tenths of a mile South of my doggys (www.cattledog.com and Blueberry doggy, she is spoiled rotten too,I bought her when she was eight weeks old and immediatley she took over my couch) couch,I could buy it for about four or five dollars. cuhulin |
