Coming in loud and clear here in Auckland, New Zealand, on both primary
(6516 kHz) and secondary (4483 kHz) frequencies: 2004-12-26 09:55 6516 kHz USB - "Four Seasons" talking to a coastguard station, sounded something like "Rolla" coastguard, didn't catch who this was. Then, "Four Seasons" talking to "Sea Two". Then, boat "Bernina" (or similar) relaying the position of "Lady Godiva" at 34 degrees 57 minutes South, 151 degrees 12 minutes East. "Four Seasons" then said they'd change to 4483 kHz and would shortly return to this frequency. 2004-12-26 10:03 4483 kHz USB - "Four Seasons" says he is standing by. Also attempts to call "Lady Godiva" with no success. "Four Seasons" then says he is returning to 6516, where again he announces his return. "Four Seasons" is the comms relay boat for this year's Sydney-to-Hobart yacht race. Mark. Auckland New Zealand. |
