I want to be able to listen to utilities on my new portable. I also
want to be able to decode RTTY, Fax and Morse through some sort of interface software on my computer. Is there any way to do this? |

It can be done if you have the right software on the computer. Just
feed a line from your line out or earphone outlet on the 1001 to your sound card. I forget the name of the software. There are probably several very good ones. You may want to check out http://www.westmountainradio.com/RIGblaster.htm for a hardware and/or software approach - or just do a search for RTTY on the web. PSK31 might also be a good program to look into. =========== atomicthumbs wrote: I want to be able to listen to utilities on my new portable. The kit probably cost more than the Kaito, though. -- Eric F. Richards, "Nature abhors a vacuum tube." -- Myron Glass, often attributed to J. R. Pierce, Bell Labs, c. 1940 |
