I have had the radio for 3 years working fine and I have never dropped it. Man I really don't want to drop $130.00 on this radio as I spent enough just to get it. The best way to cut your losses is to sell the radio as is to someone that wants it for spare parts or can fix it. Then use the sales money to buy a good used one. Starman, I took your advice because I'm tired of not having a decent radio. I have been using a yahct boy 206 and it is a decent little radio. It just doesn't cut it. I just grabbed a 7600gr through amazon. Thanks, Dave Good choice on the new radio. You should be able to get at least $100 for the broken SW-77 which will almost cover the cost of the new 7600GR. If I had a '77', I'd buy yours for parts. |
