Default Radio Melodia, Peru

Heard this on 5996 at about 3:25 UTC. Seems odd that what is listed as
a 5kw domestic service for Peru is coming in so strongly. Very clear
signal on my YB-400PE with Sony AN-LP1 antenna. Spanish announcers and
music. I was trying to get Cuba in, but found this instead. Where is
Radio Havana lately anyway?

Here in Central California, we get a Peruvian religious station on
about 6020.25 regularly; last night (about 0500 Z on January 24) it was
coming through better than usual.

R. Rebelde in Cuba on 5025 almost always outshines its bigger R. Havana
brother on any frequency at this QTH. Funny.
