RCI Transmitter problems?

RCI Transmitter problems?

I am listening to RCI on 9515Khz this morning, (02/08/2005) at about
9am. There is a regular crunching sound comming across every 10
seconds or so. Almost sounds like an arcing in the transmitter.
Checked dual freq 13.655Khz. Same thing. Moved off freq and the sound
went away. Never heard that type of thing before.
