All this wet weather we have been getting in California usually ends up
somewhere across the rest of the country.

Whatever stormy weather that shows up in Texas and Louisiana, usually
some of it heads on over to here in Mississippi.I can pull up that NOAA
weather map thingy on the internet with the radar loop and see what is
heading this way.It is just like looking at the weather reports on tv
news. The weather here right now is warm, partly cloudy and somewhat
rainy.Flowers are growing in my yard and most of my front yard is green.

I've made two trips with my daughters this winter into the Cascade Mountain
foothills (near Mt. Rainier) trying to find snow for sledding, but both
times found no snow. The papers around here are saying that we only have 28%
of the normal snowpack in the Cascades.

Meanwhile, it's been sunny all week and my lawn was overgrown. So Tuesday I
hauled out the lawnmower, which growled to life slowly, seemingly upset at
being woken early out of a winter hibernation.

They are calling this another "El Nino" winter up here, but I think we'll
likely have water shortages in the summer and an early fire danger season.
