You seem to be in shock just about every other day. I'd consider seeing a physician and
either getting or having your medications changed.

You sir, really wish that you were the guy who SOLD this radio
to some *schmuck* on e-Bay for $560.05 !!

Don't knock em....JOIN EM!!

I have junk in my garage boxed up from hamfests that I
bought for pennies-on-the-dollar over 25+ years ago.

Today I have sold approx 35% of this "ham junk inventory"
for almost a 700% clear profit over what I've paid for it
and I still have 65% of stuff I ain't even un-boxed and listed yet
in the loft of the garage !

I say, if the "market" wants to pay that kind of money
for useless crap, then I am VERY HAPPY to oblige
them. : ) : ) : )

(plus I tack on an extra $15 per package for S&H over
the actual ship cost...and guess what...no a single complaint!)

---- I PHUCKING L O V E E-BAY !!!!!!

IT IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO HAM RADIO SELLERS.

The 'tards are either in 'shock' over someone paying what they perceive to be a fair price
or they will try to insinuate that sales like that are some type of sham where the goods
never trade hands.

This is the best entertaiment I've ever had in my life.

Absolutely boggling.

Can't we all just get along???

Seriously though...some people are collectors. I didn't look too
closely at that auction, but it appeared that the receiver in question
was in good condition, so that price doesn't seem too outrageous for an
Icom.

Golly gee -- my take on all this

1. Why would you be concerned as to how folks spend their money ?
2. An auction is just that -- folks bid what they think it is worth (right
or wrong, dumb or shrewd)
3. There are lots of megabuck buyers out there. Money is no object.
4. Collectors live in a different world than you or I.
5. You really don't want price fixing do you ?
6. Free enterprise is a wonderful thing - think about it.
7. Caveat Emptor sez Caveat Lector

I bid, therefore I am
