About the only good thing that Clear Channel did on 1530
the past couple of years was to restore the WCKY call
letters to it. Clear Channel dumped the 50's/60's singers
and standards music for 50's/60's pop/rock, and then
they replaced that with the Air America style format.

As for Jerry, he's just rehabbing his image so he can run
for Governor or Senator. The local Democratic party
bosses have been after him for years to run, thinking that
his name recognition would be a great bonus to their
cause. Needless to say, a lot of the rank and file aren't
too thrilled with the Jerry flirtation.
