Many of the SW Kookologists really need to write some new material. I
depend on the domestic Kookologists for their special brand of intriguing comic relief. The problem is, they have been running the same two basic stories over and over for more then a decade. Rick Wiles is on now and once again, he's going on about the coming economic collapse. A few hours earlier, Steve Quayle was on talking about guess what ??? Yep... The economic collapse. And, as a matter of course, they throw in the obligatory "end times" advanced kookology. For Christ sake, they never come up with anything new and or exciting. The friggin economy has been collapsing for how long now ??? They need to freshen it up with a new twist. I'd like to hear about the world coming to an end in some new and interesting way. How many episodes were there of the Batman and Robin TV series ??? Every episode there was a new and interesting way that the arch villains were going to dispose of the caped crusaders. It kept the drama fresh :-) The SW kookologists need to change it up a bit... If not, I'll have to start going to comedy clubs. Michael |

: Rick Wiles? What time is he on? I used to listen to his show until he went "Big Time" TV ;-) Anyway, more recently I would hear his show on occasion as I spun through the shortwave dial, but never paid it much attention. What frequency and time is his show on? Concerning the lack of topics, I have started listening to Jeff Rense at midnight Eastern, (0400 UTC?), 5070 KHz. Alex was on a tirade last night, (I realize that the show was a repeat from either earlier in the day, or another day), addressing some individual that wrote an article inimical to one of Alex's resources. Trying to sleep while listening to one of Alex's rants is indeed difficult. When I switched to Jeff Rense, the difference between their dispositions was like night and day. I don't know much about Jeff, I see disparaging comments about him on this NG periodically, but so far all I have heard of his show is more like George Noory on Coast to Coast AM than anything you normally hear on SW. I said elsewhere that Alex, John Stadtmiller, and Steve Quayle need to take a break from their usual stuff. Thanks, Dr. Artaud Many of the SW Kookologists really need to write some new material. I could not agree more with your observations dear friend Michael!
I would not worry however, as the domestic short-wave kook industry, in general, must continually spin a new and more kooky yarn of new and even more esoteric bull**** to keep their core base of white trailer trash listenership both entertained, and in a state of ongoing paranoia on a regular basis. Of course, one should also keep in mind that they may also, modify upon their existing portfolio of current conspiracy theories such as chemtrails and similar BS. In the meantime, be sure to tune into the live call-in shows as the people who call in are usually so dammed ignorant and unsophisticated as to sound as if they just fell off the back of a turnip truck landing into a watermelon patch Somewhere in rural Mississippi. Just give em time, trust me. In the meantime, some good news to report in that Elizabeth Border's ultra-kooky hour long radio cavalcade on WWRB Will be moving to 5.745 MHz on 5/1/05 from 8-9 PM EST. If you've not heard EB, you're in for a treat. It's hard to describe really, except that she often does her show while talking about world news and affairs to a REAL SOCK PUPPET (..just like Shari Lewis used to do with Lambchop In the 1960's) named Barbie with background of gothic classical music.. only on shortwave will you hear this folks! Michael Hiya, Dr. Rick Wiles' show "TrueNews" runs on weeknights from 9:30 PM EST to 10:00 PM EST on 9515. It is usually a reliable signal here in NJ. It is exactly the same type of program he used to run when he had the hour long program "American Freedom News". The new show is just half as long. He presents some legitimate news stories, but as you would expect, it is all bent around his advanced kookological cannon. Here is a link to his web site.... http://www.trunews.com/ Michael |

: Thanks much, just tuned in now. It actually comes in fairly clear. I see that he is still professing to be in direct contact with God. I remember when he was soliciting money to start his TV show. He told his SW fans that he was going to keep the SW show "and" do the TV show. He then said that God told him that he needed to spend all of his time with the TV show, using, of course, the money that the SWLs had sent in. Is he still with the TV program? I wasn't sure what happened to that.
I wasn't even sure where to find him on SW even though I did hear him about a month or so ago. (You can tell I don't keep logs.) As I stated once before, Whatever else he is, He's a SALESMAN! It might do him good to dig a ditch or two and maybe plant a garden - most anything to allow him to work with his hands and have to DO something! :-) Speaking of which, he sold the seed for people to plant a garden and become a bit more self sufficient. Not sure if he practiced what he preached or didn't have the time. ========== € Dr. Artaud € wrote: "Michael" wrote in : Thanks much, just tuned in now. It actually comes in fairly clear. : For some odd reason, I always enjoyed the radio show. Perhaps his voice, the cadence of the show, I really don't know. I always wanted to see the show on TV, but it was not on Direct TV. It may have been available on a Christian Broadcast station in Pittsburgh, but it wasn't worth it to me to take the time to connect an aerial. Perhaps the thing that I most liked about him was that he is human, he stumbles through the show, mispronouncing this and that, just like I would if I were to do a show.
