My wife and I are planning a trip to the Dominican Republic which will
span the end of June to early July. Does anyone have recommendations as to which frequencies I can try, particularly those I might not normally get here in Brooklyn, NY, or those I wouldn't get clearly here? I normally listen to Radio Netherlands, the BBC, Radio Canada, and sometimes Voice of Russia and Radio Japan. I've been unsuccessful at receiving the English broadcast of Radio France - might I have success receiving it from the Dominican Republic? If it matters, I have a Sony ICF-SW7600GR with an AN-LP1 antenna. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lost, yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. Sorry that I don't have an answer for your question, but I am curious about your success with the AN-LP1 antenna. Does it really improve reception for you? I also have the SW7600GR and an considering purchase of that antenna. Thanks. |
