Default Question about JRC NRD-545 DSP

i have just got my hands on a mint condition second user JRC NRD-545 DSP
communications Receiver. this has the wide band converter already fitted.
can anybody tell me when the NRD-545 was first released.

this receiver has been added to my collection of six top receivers and sits
along side an AOR AR5000A+3
this was only brought as a dedicated HF receiver.
i didn't intend to buy one with the converter fitted as this converter cost
£299.99 and i didn't need this. i intend to take this converter out and sell
it to the person who is willing to offers the best price.
hope somebody can help answer my question.
and any offers for the ( CHE-199 Wideband Converter ) email me with your
offer....

Thanks: john.
