with all this talk of the DE31, I think it is time for me to write a review
of an outstanding and unknown value in the active antenna world. the Ramsey AA7 active antenna, sold in kit form, it is quite simple, but it performs almost as well as my 50 foot "Doty" low noise antenna. limited only by the noise in my room I use a grove TUN4 with dual imputs so I can switch back and forth qucikly on the same receiver, the results are almost about the same. I hope to have a complete review with pictures of the assembly process on my web site in a couple of weeks. |
