It sounds like the Clickbank.com service manual that I bought for my Grundig
3400. Actually, most of that was readable, but it still looked like a
scanned copy from one of those cheap copiers that used the liquid toner.

Maybe they were in the thrift stores 'cause they didn't work anymore for
whatever reason.

Panasonic radios.Well,I own a Panasonic RF-2600 radio I bought brand
spanking new,new as a new born baby's a.. at a local Jackson,Mississippi
(I live in Jackson) Service Merchandise store wayyyyyyy up north on the
I-55 frontage road in Jackson.(later on,there was a new Service
Merchandise store on Highway 80,about half a mile from me) A few years
later,it quit working,it wouldn't do zip,not even light up or
anything,it was just as if it wasen't even plugged in the wall
outlet,stone cold dead! I never have used any of the jacks on the radio
before,but I noticed if I push around on the earphone jack,it would turn
on for a minute or two or a half a second,take your pick.I own many
other Pansonic radios I have bought over the years from thrift
stores.Here is my personal opinion of Panasonic,Mostly JUNK! Would I
reccomend buying a Panasonic anything? H..L NO!
