That's just what the Big Boys at Sirius allow you to think.

http://www.iba.org.il/reception
is the new Kol Israel frequency page, for both domestic MW/FM and shortwave. The page was just created last week and is much clearer than the old one. For some reason, this evening, I'm getting HTTP 403 (Forbidden) errors on that website. I emailed them about it. Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow. As mentioned, http://www.israelradio.org also has the schedule Besides shortwave: As others have mentioned, there are also live and recorded webfeeds available off of http://www.iba.org.il The REKA, foreign (non-Hebrew) language station website is http://reka.iba.org.il REKA broadcasts three out of the four daily English broadcasts. The fourth one is on Reshet Hey.... the International network. The website has English news and other information, as well as access to the live feed. Other Kol Israel information and more feeds, including a live Reshet Hey feed to pick up the missing 1900 UTC broadcast: http://www.israelradio.org There are links from there, to Kol Israel audio on wrn.org - ie: http://www.wrn.org/ondemand/israel.html You can listen to Kol Israel English on demand, or via the WRN stream, using your cellphone and dialing in to the Mobile Broadcast Network. The service is free, but it'll cost you cellphone time. Details are available at: http://www.mymbn.com/ ....and yes, the WRN feed on Sirius... or WRN feed on the wrn.org website...etc The ways of receiving WRN in North America are listed he http://www.wrn.org/listeners/station...p?StationID=50 |

For the life of me, I can't understand why you allow yourself to get talked into a box each and evey time, regardless of the topic... You spout off like you are the last, lone hope for freedom and liberty, yet you can't even fend for yourself with mere words in *usenet*, fer cryin' out loud! Man! lol! -=jd=- We were discussing his assertion that the executives at Sirius have too much control on my electronic input, which is an absurd idea. The content is ubiquitous. I pay Sirius so I don't have to have a 200 Watt computer running all the time to listen, and so I can hear the BBC World Service in my pickup truck, Hoss. |

That's right. Sirius is the great corporate Leader. If any shortwave
listeners refuse to subscribe, Sirius will roast their stomachs in hell. I am not afraid, and neither should you be! Shortwave listeners do not even have control over themselves! Do not believe them! Sirius and its great forces will give shortwave listeners a lesson which will not be forgotten by history. Truly. |
