I'm doing the same to the leather case the 398 came in. I got the book in it too, for good measure. I don't smell a THING on that radio now. Good stuff! Thanks for all the tips guys, I just wanted to share what I did, and to let you know that it worked great! Best, Daniel Hi Dan Can you fill me in on what baking soda does to the radio? Clean it up? How? It sucks the bad smell out of it. It's like putting a box of it in the 'fridge. You might try putting a box of it in your pants, it might just help if you've not time to change your Depends. dxAce Michigan USA |

I saw a Arm & Hammer Baking Soda display in the center isle next to the
food and drink isles at the wal mart store this afternoon.Medium size Arm & Hammer Baking Soda at fifty eight cents each. One time at one of our little Bases in Vietnam,a guy got awfully sick on something he had eaten.(he was about to die,it looked like) Some guys burned some tree limbs they chopped down. Then they scraped the carbon off of the burnt tree limbs and filled up a Canteen half and half with Carbon and water and made him drink it down. They did the same thing again.Soon after that,he had to take a big poop.Immediately after he did that,he said he was ready to take on the World! The Carbon in the water he drank removed the poison in his stomach guts. cuhulin |
