The Span-Master was an excellent regenerative receiver for its time. It
not only boasted of band switching from the broadcast band to 30 MHz, it
also included a "fine" regeneration control that made those critical
peaking adjustments made easy. My buddy had one during the early 60's
and we had a blast listening to everything from am broadcast to C.B.

It was very well designed.

That is why it is sought after today.
