I appreciate the help,but the P408 on Ebay is mine ( my Ebay ID is my
old novice call),It doesent cover the frequency range I need thats why its up for auction.The P508 I,m looking for covers 200khz to 30 mhz.Thanks for letting me know though ,as I said I do appreciate you looking out for one.73 David N4XCE |

WANTED PALOMAR P508 Active Preselector (tunable HF preaamplifier)
the frequency range it covers ,but more important than that the preamp
has a much lower noise floor (the MFJs are the worst) than the other ones and its more stable,some of the others will break into oscillation in the upper end of the band .Thats just my oppinion after playing around with the others (except the Palstar ,I havent tried one of them yet,although its an active antenna not a preselector ) .Thanks |
