Default Help I need a frequency Counter

I need an external frequency digital counter for my Hammarlund 180 ac.
I am looking for the type that all you do is connect the PL259 coax then
to the radio.

I need something that will cover at lease 3-30 MHZ.

I have a Communication Concepts Inc. digital frequency display hooked into
my SP-600. No reason why it couldn't be done with a HQ-180.

But you've got it hooked up to the local oscillator. Either you had
to add a jack for the counter, or it already existed (I don't know if
there was an oscillator out on the Super Pro, the one I had was the
diversity version that brought out all the oscillators to connectorson the
back).

He thinks he can add a counter to the antenna jack, which would only
work if the receiver also transmitted (and would only work when a signal
was being transmitted).
