I am starting to feel that there have been no good portable radios available new since 1962. : ) Anybody else feel the same way? They are nice radios which if in a good state of tune have a wonderfully mellow sound and are passably sensitive to bigger stations. But then the Panasonic RF-5000b from 1973 also had an incredibly mellow and full sound too. And it was fully transistorized. |
