Since the Eton E1 Radio does not have a built-in AM/MW Ferrite Rod
Antenna and uses the Whip Antenna for AM/MW Radio Reception.

1. The Easist Method of Improving AM/MW Reception is to
simply use one of the small commercial AM/MW Loop Antennas
that lend themselves to being inductively coupled to the
Radio's built-in AM/MW Ferrite Rod Antenna will not work
well with the Eton E1 Radio :
* Select-A-Tenna Model 541-M
* Terk AM Advantage
* RadioShack AM Loop Antenna

However, you could try them using a 1/8" Mono-Plug and
short piece of twisted Speaker Wire directly connected
to the Radio's Exteral Antenna Jack with a PAL Connector.
