I bought a radio for three dollars and a speaker (Realistic Solo
speaker,it has a wooden cabinet and a large oval speaker with a smaller round speaker just to the right of the oval speaker) for two dollars at the Goodwill store this afternoon. On the front of the radio it says,IC FET FM/AM 4 Channel Stereo Panaonic. There are four slide levers on the front of the radio for Left Channel and Right Channel and to the left are two push buttons for Power and Loudness and there is a jack for earphones and to the right of the four slide levers are two knobs for Treble and Bass and over on the right hand side of the radio are two knobs for Selector and Tuning. On the back of the radio it says Model No.RE-7750 FM-AM - FM Stereo Serial No.93235 and there are a bunch of jacks for speakers and Phono and Rec Out and there is a large jack for Remote Balance and there are two places for FM ANT.The radio is heavy and appears to have a wooden cabinet.I haven't hooked up any speakers to the radio to try it out yet.Assuming the radio works ok,is it suppose to be a good radio for AM dxing? cuhulin |
