I dont care to hear about price or portability or anything OTHER than MW performance of said radio as compared to the likes of other radios like the Panasonic Rf-2200/ Sony Crf series or other renowned MW performers and such like the Sony icf-2010 and such... |

Quite good. I usually need to narrow the passband by ''tuning away'' from the Synchronous sideband selected by about 1500Hz. This fattens the signal up a lot. The R75 in SSB mode is quite good, too. |

If both the r75 and sw2 were the same price and such, which one would
you prefer to own for mw dxing? |

Get the R-75. You will have more control over the passband and have
more features that are useful. The SW-2, however, is still a credible receiver on MW. Frank |
