Funny how Radio-Mart (RM) is the only negative feed this guy has. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...&iid=-1&de=off This unlucky guy got screwed by both Radio-Mart (RM) and gottahaveit1995, the Radio-Mart (RM) alias. Otherwise, he would have perfect feedback. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...&userid=wbt400 Another guy with perfect feedback except for Radio-Mart (RM). http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...erid=markmadrn Radio-Mart (RM) strikes again! http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...serid=arlnpaul Captain, sensors picking up approaching negative feedback! I tell you who got burned - whoever paid $1995.00 for the R-390a 2 or 3
weeks ago. Tag line said it was "Collins Original" but the nameplate on the front of the radio said MOTOROLA. The pics are gone now but I noticed this before the radio sold. I'd like to be a fly on the wall when the buyer saw that his "COLLINS" R-390a was really a MOTOROLA. The pics are gone now but the link was http://cgi.ebay.com/Collins-R-390A-M...QQcmdZViewItem |

However, technically speaking, it is still legitimate to refer to the 390 as a "Collins" radio no matter who built it. As Cuhulin often says, "Look it up". And it's quite possible to have an R-390A with a Collins Serial # tag and everything from the front panel back be from a half-dozen contractors. If you want to have a 4 sure Collins get an R-390. |

My wooden cabinet AM/FM/Shortwave/Phonograph Radio has a pot metal
thingy on the front of the radio that says Grundig.I think it is a Majestic model radio.OK,the two little owners manuals/operating manuals/booklets do not say a word about Grundig, the only brand name they mention is Telefunken,,, so,I call it my Telefunken Grundig Radio. One of the little booklets says 1957,which leads me to believe the Radio was manufactured in the year 1957.Take for instance the World War Two era Willys and Ford model Jeeps, long after Willys and Ford stopped building those models of Jeeps after World War Two,Hotchkiss in France was still building the same models of those Jeeps on into the 1960's.Look it up. cuhulin |
