Let us not forget that Kissinger & Nixon in a republican presidency

It is important that you understand that the CCP is the political group
in charge of China, but the CCP is not China.

As China becomes more open

Your not keeping up with contemporary Chinese issues.

I expect that the CCP will gradually evolve toward being more open
and responsive to the many social problems that country still faces.

I guess you would have had to have been born there to understand (hint).

That evolution will not be smooth or pretty but it is happening and
will continue.

The only evolution occuring in China is the Communist Party experiment in
Socialism with "Chinese characteristics" corrupted by Chinese mafia
experimenting in Capitalism.

Yes, I know it is a lot easier for you if you can ignore the change
that has and will continue to occur in China. That way you can
continue justify your lonely war to keep Taiwan from the clutches of
mainland China.
