Hello all,
AMC is currently running this movie from 1954.
It is a bit inane at times but is very accurate re the radio gear in
use then.
Anyway,at 1hr 4min into the film they overfly the freighter where the
jr. radio op is listeneng on his homebrew rig...note the QSL's on the
wall....esp. the one at the left: W1AW.
Also,the S-38 looks to be in new-mint shape...
They will rerun it Monday.
