Those precision diode circuits look good on paper, but you can do a
better circuit by using a comparator to select between the inverted and non-inverted signal (generated by op amps). That is how you do the function on an IC, where floating diodes are a problem. wrote: http://amwindow.org/tech/htm/alowdisdet.htm cuhulin |

What I know about building radios or repairing radios or radio related
thingys,y'all could write down on a little bitty postage stamp in great big letters.I only posted that website in case somebody else might be interested.Heck,I probally couldn't even put a Ramsey Kit together and expect it to work. www.ramseykits.com cuhulin |

It was good to post it. There are many schemes to do demod. The HP 334
distortion analyzer, when used in AM mode, uses a simple diode detector scheme. I think it can do about 0.25% THD, but need to dig out the manual to be sure. wrote: What I know about building radios or repairing radios or radio related thingys,y'all could write down on a little bitty postage stamp in great big letters.I only posted that website in case somebody else might be interested.Heck,I probally couldn't even put a Ramsey Kit together and expect it to work. www.ramseykits.com cuhulin |
