Default grundig satellit 6001 - help needed

5 pin din on rear panel marked tape/phono. Is this a tape output and phono
input? Anyone got a pinout? Is the pushbutton selector marked with a circle
and line to listen to phono input? Is this high or low level input? Is there
a better newsgroup to post these questions? Am I even close?

If typical of Grundig, the socket is a tape out and phono/tape input. Phono
input is high level (ceramic cartridge). This link should help you figure
out the pins you need to use:

Thanks, I do get hum when I touch pins 1 and 4 so that diagram should be
correct. Confusing cause those are stereo inputs/outputs and its not a
stereo radio!

It's for using your radios amplifier/controls/speaker(s) to play back
the signal from an external Tape/Phono player.

You can check more info he
