Received a f/d "Sculptures on Adinatha Temple" QSL today for reception of All India Radio 4950 via Srinagar, Kashmir in 4 months, v/s Y. K. Sharma. My 220th NASWA Country verified. I've heard them before, but I've never tried QSL-ing them. Are they picky about reception reports? What do you mean by 'picky'? Picky as in requiring a couple of weeks worth of reception reports, or a tape to demonstrate you actually heard them? Neither. dxAce Michigan USA |

Yes, very nice job being persistant with the QSLs and hanging in there
for long time. I have only cw qsl cards, but you inspire me to give swl qsl a try. 73 Bob |

Great catch! And a great QSL to add to your outstanding collection.
Speaing of AIR, my wife's grandfather used to be an AIR anchor back in the 1950's. While with AIR, he started the program "Jaimala": a music program for the faujis (army personnel). The program is still on the air on AIR's Vividh Bharati program line-up. I believe 10330 kHz is the only shortwave frequency on which VB programming is aired...no idea if Jaimala makes it onto AIR's time-slots for that frequency. At any rate, it's always a pleasure to receive AIR. It would be nice if other South Asian broadcasters (e.g. Radio Pakistan, Bangladesh Betar) were more easily heard in the U.S. junius dxAce wrote: Received a f/d "Sculptures on Adinatha Temple" QSL today for reception of All India Radio 4950 via Srinagar, Kashmir in 4 months, v/s Y.
