Is it just me or does VOA give you the ****s?.I was listening to it and
it was NOTHING BUT PROPERGANDA all the time, other than the sports
section.It was sport and then "how the spread of democracy is help
fighting the war on terror" or some such **** i promptly turn the dial,
it makes me want to throw the radio out of the window.There programs
make a mockery of there slogan on there site "a trusted source of news"
it has got worse since bush has come to power.

It is so bad that the radio station in Australia (ABC newsradio) that
mainly takes programs from overseas sources (i.e DW radio,RNW etc
etc)doesnt take ANY VOA programs its main american radio program is
sourced from NPR.

Not necessarily radio australia doesnt broadcast properganda it
broadcasts what the ABC broadcasts basically and its got complaints from
the current govt of "anti-governent and left-wing bias" so no it isnt
like that.But VOA makes all its programs as properganda which wouldent
annoy me if they didnt claim to be a reliable news source.Im not the
only one who thinks its sucks.Here is what my friend said about the VOA
service.
Most people just ignore VOA rather than give it the time of day, it
used to have a purpose but that died with the cold war.

That sums it up, i heard that VOA is going to wind up its english
service soon.

I guess I should have said many or most are on the air to broadcast
propaganda such as VOR, Havana Cuba, North Korea, and China as examples.
