Hey Creek , This guy is top notch on selling , done numerous deals with him MYSELF.....in fact I like what he does , post and
gives the guys that have done business with him before a chance at usually a good deal on something. OK so it goes to
eBay and he gets top dollar , but that's what eBay is all about right?

LOL... funny thing, checking in on it today, it was posted with 2 days left.
And being a scanner, it would probably make a better play in a scanner
group.

Hey, I've said it once and I'll say it again. I think we should have a
rec.radio.ebay group.
That way we will have a place where everyone can list their ebay auctions,
and you can use google to
search out what you're looking for. Better yet, someone could write a code
to help search the group by category,
item type, number or price, if all that was listed in the ad. It would be a
great idea and it makes me wonder why ebay didn't think of it.

Woody, these guys get mad when we tell them to use FA so we can use
our filters. Not everyone here wants to see the Ebay posts. One guy
used to do the trick " FA FA: FA; FA- FA) " Just to get around our
FA filters. We will never get rid of ebay postings here but they could
at least use FA at the beginning so we can filter it and not see it. I
think that is reasonable.

The people who like to pollute the groups with their ebay ads won't go
for a separate group. They want their ads to go out to as many people as
possible. I'm surprised that they haven't resorted to mass mailing
software like their cousins, the spammers have done.

Yeah, my sarcasm seems to lose something in the text translations.....
LOL...

My reference was that a system set up to search just like being on ebay
would be as redundantly foolish
as posting links to ebay ads. I agree, if I want to check out auctions, I'll
go to ebay. When I just want to search out
a sale or trade I come here. God bless the filter and killfile.
