Why did didn't you post it in the first place, or in the second place, or in the third place? Interestingly, the XILE Model XL830L multimeter is also "CE Certified". "CE" stands for "Conformité Européenne" which is French for "European Conformity". When the "CE" symbol is affixed to a product (as it is to the XILE Model XL830L multimeter) it is the manufacturer's declaration that the product conforms to the essential requirements of all European directives. These essential requirements would include Safety, public health, Electro- magnetic Compatibility, and consumer protection, among other things. But you're probably familiar enough with the XILE Model XL830L multimeter to have known that it's CE Certified. |

Thank you for generating so much interest; it looks like I'll now have to at least double my reorder for more of these multimeters. Did you happen to see what they charge to ship one multimeter from Singapore to the U.S.? Their lowest shipping rate shown for that meter shipped to the U.S. is $ 16.05 for "Speedpost" Standard Air Courier, with delivery in 7 to 12 business days. So let's see, they charge you $ 18.52 for the meter, and $ 16.05 to ship it from SIngapore to the U.S., with delivery in 7 to 12 business days, with no mention anywhere of any package tracking from Singapore. Seems to me your total cost from them is $ 34.57 .... which is $ 3.57 more than your total cost would have been from me, with Priority Mail shipping, including Delivery Confirmation and a tracking number, and delivery to any U.S. address within 2 -3 business days. Do the math, then let me know how many meters you'd like to order before I place my next order. With the sudden popularity of this meter, I'll even offer the very same percentage "quantity discount" they're offering, plus, I'll discount shipping charges on multiple units shipped to you at the same time. How many would you like to order? |
