Yaesu FT-817ND receiver distortion
I have owned my FT-817ND for a few months now and notice that the
receiver has distortion on all modes (CW, SSB, AM etc). Turning off the rx amp and attenuator helps reduce this but does not eliminate it. Appear to be an RF issue but maybe audio as well. Are there mods to fix this issue? Most likely this portable radio does not like full size antennas such as dipoles and delta loops that I have been using. |

Sounds like AGC may be turned off...?
