Made a nice loop with some capaticance and a small variable one for receiving on 160. My brother (the antenna genius) made one for me out of a wooden embroidery hoop from a craft store, a few turns of wire, and a variable cap out of a transistor radio. Works great! It's not as sensitive as my outdoor long wire antenna, but it's fun to play around with nulling some signals while pulling others out of the mud. |
