TCARC Hamfest 2003 Scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2003

ITHACA, NY The Tompkins County Amateur Radio Club announces the Finger
Lakes HAM-IN (hamfest and fly-in) at Tompkins County Airport (KITH), 3
miles NE of Ithaca on Route 13, on Saturday August 2, 2003.

Talk-in on 146.970- AF2A repeater.

Vendor setup starts at 6 AM (inquire for Friday night setup time).
Doors open to the public at 7 AM Saturday morning.
Hamfest closes at 2 PM Saturday afternoon.
Large hangar for indoor vendors and displays.
Drive-in setup.
Paved outdoor flea market and parking.
Aviation displays - fly in and show your plane for free!
Breakfast and lunch served by Boy Scouts.
Admission: $5.00 at the door
Indoor tables: $10.00.
Outdoor space $2.00 each.
ARRL sanctioned event. VE exams starting at 9AM, walk-ins always welcome
at
tests.

Ah yes, my hometown. I guess that TCARC is the successor to The Ithaca Mike
and Key Club, which existed well before WW II. Was just up there last weekend
attending an Ithaca High School reunion.
