I have a Japan Radio NRD-525 that I would like to sell. It is serial #39117.
It is in very good condition a 9.9 out of 10. There is a very slight bit of
wear on the top two corners and a small knick on the top trim, barely
visible. The radio works fine. All buttons and functions work. Display is
bright. Radio is clean inside and out. I have done the audio mod as
suggested by Kiwa. I replaced the caps in the audio section with high
quality ones and raised the value of the output cap. The radio sounds much
better than the normal 525. I also did the Kiwa AGC mod. Overall with these
mods the radio sounds very nice. I have the manual but not the original box.
I am the second owner. It has no extra filters or boards. But it does have
two step tuning. this is an excellant receiver. I'd like to get $400 plus
$25 shipping. I can send pictures if you are interested.
