This is now a classic piece of ham radio equipment that is still very
usable on today's ham bands. It is the venerable Kenwod TS-520S HF transceiver, solid-state except for the 12BY7A RF driver and a pair of 6146B final RF amplifier tubes. These are very solid, almost bulletproof RF amps that are very inexpensive to replace when necessary. Another great feature of the TS-520S is that it has both 110 VAC and 12 VDC power supplies built in. So it's excellent for portable or emergency use. The TS-520 comes with a nice matching Kenwood desk mic , AC power cord, copy of Owners Nanal and also the Service Manual too, which will hep you keep this fine classic radio running at it's peak for years to come. I am asking $325.00 for the package plus shipping. If interested please reply by e-mail. 73, Michael, W1RC |
