This is a newsgroup for selling and buying equipment. Why would you want to
filter out items being sold, even if they ARE in an auction?!

Please explain how eBay and FA kill the radio hobby.

What I want to know is how ANYTHING posted on an internet newsgroup can "kill"
amateur radio. Some people take this stuff too much to heart. That's why
filters/kill files were invented!

Is there a filter on this usenet group to block FA and Ebay items now? If
there is, that is too bad since it was a good way to find items your would have
missed.

Filters are setup by the individual internet user on whatever system he uses to
access the internet. There is no way for a newsgroup to filter any messages
posted.
