Kenwood MJ-89 MJ89 "Modular plug microphone switch" Allows you to hook up
two mics to one radio. Has front panel switch for A, A-B, or B. This allows
either mic or even BOTh mics to in line to your radio.
Another great use would be to hook up tape recorder to your radio, audio
from your computer to your radio or other input, all without having to put
wear and tear on connectors by plugging/unplugging constantly. Leave BOTH
hooked up and let this neat switch do the work. Easy to mount or just leave
loose. Approximately 1 foot cable with 8 pin modular plug from switchbox to
radio. Has two jacks and slide switch on box.
For 8 pin modular radios. Use for other than Kenwood, like ICOM or Yaesu? I
suppose you could rewire as needed.
